Jordan Pharmacists Association

The Pharmacists’ Syndicate was established in 1957, based on the Pharmacy Law of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan No. 10 of 1957, published in the Official Gazette No. 1323 of March 17, 1957. It is one of the Jordanian professional syndicates and has more than 17,400 pharmacists and pharmacists (2016). They constitute the total of Jordanian pharmacists, since membership is mandatory, meaning that a pharmacist may not practice the profession unless he is a member of the union. The goals of the syndicated are summarized in:

1. Preserving, protecting, defending and organizing the interests of the profession.

2. Cooperation with the Ministry and all relevant bodies and institutions to raise the level of pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical services and provide them to the public.

3. Collect pharmacists’ word and preserve their rights and dignity.

4. Preserving the ethics of the profession.

5. Encouraging scientific research in general and in the field of medicine in particular.

6. Secure the life of pharmacists and their families in the case of destitution and old age.
