Indian Social Club

It was their contention that this body would promote a greater mutual understanding and cooperation between the Indians and the other nationals residing in the Sultanate.
The roots of the present Indian Social Club or its erstwhile predecessor, the Indian Cultural Association, go way back to 1950, when the Indian Association was established. However, active and aggressive progress was achieved in 1977, when the need was felt to have a better representation for the cultural and social aspirations of the Indian community.
