Independence Youth Union is the youth arm of the Democratic Union of the Palestinian "delegation" a national framework of democratic and progressive educational social and cultural includes in its ranks young women and men who engage in work actively towards the achievement of its goals and objectives. Union and an integral part of the Palestinian youth and student movement that fights for youth issues and for the completion of the National Liberation tasks and independence establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the embodiment of the democratic approach and legislation in the life of the new Palestinian society part, and seeks for Palestinian youth unite within the youth national framework It combines all the Palestinian Youth currents on the basis of democracy and pluralism. In order to build the Palestinian society and the political system on the basis of ensuring the achievement of social justice and equality among all segments of society, including between women and men and to ensure effective participation of youth and women participation at all social, political and cultural levels and to ensure their access to places of decision-making.

Our mission:

Develop the capacity of young people and educate them to defend their young and redress for rights and the promotion of young people's political, social, cultural and women participate in society and in the leading bodies and official institutions (executive, legislative and judicial) and in the leadership and membership of youth political parties and factions and organizations, and public institutions.

Objectives:-

The youth of the Union of Independence boldly forward based on the past experience of the Palestinian youth movement, towards the rebuilding and the launch of its energies in order to achieve the following objectives:

Youth Union works independence in order to promote and strengthen youth and students contribute to the liberation, democracy, equality and social justice process in order to devote their rights educational, academic, professional, social and open broad prospects for their future.

Youth Union seeks independence in order to expand employment opportunities for graduates and their employment in the organs of Palestinian government institutions and economic and social institutions in civil society, and re-qualification for unemployed youth work and absorbed into the local labor market.

Independence Youth Union works for restoration of the General Union of Palestine Students build on new foundations to keep pace with the current stage and accommodate student councils at universities, institutes and schools in Palestine and overseas branches in the Arab and foreign countries, and seeks with other frameworks youth to reshape and activate Top Youth Council to shoulder its responsibilities in shaping youth policy and the leadership of the logistical struggle for the defense of their interests and their issues.

The unification of the Palestinian youth movement within a national framework that includes all the trends and institutions according to democratic bases, responds to the interests of the public youth, and lead the struggle logistical youth to defend their interests and their issues and express them in front of the official Palestinian institutions.

Educate youth in the spirit of openness and democratic values and consolidation method, renounce and fight factional strife and neurological and foster a spirit of belonging to the homeland, and to contribute effectively in building the Palestinian society in the light of the establishment of the Palestinian National Authority, and the consolidation of social, economic, cultural and security of civilian infrastructure in accordance with the foundations of democracy.
