GORD, a member of Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, is a non-profit governmental organization established at Qatar Science and Technology Park.
GORD joins the global effort to meet the present needs without compromising the rights of the future generations. We are committed to contribute to the sustainable development of the MENA region.
GORD’s Centers of Excellence, GSAS Trust, GORD Institute, and GORD Academy, focus on promoting sustainability best practices through:
- Developing sustainability and green buildings standards (GSAS Trust)
- Conducting multi-disciplinary applied research (GORD Institute)
- Engaging in education and outreach activities (GORD Academy)
In addition, Gulf Carbon Trust (GCT), is dedicated to facilitate the climate actions and carbon management in Qatar and the region for a greener, cleaner and safer world.
Moreover, Gulf Green Mark (GGM), the first GCC and MENA region Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Scheme, is dedicated to promote the products and materials for the construction industry with the declared environmental footprints over their life cycle.
