GVC is a non-governmental secular, independent, born in Bologna in 1971.
We work to restore dignity in the private lives of entire communities of fundamental rights. We fight poverty and injustice by working with individuals, social forces, governments and local administrations to ensure thousands of people access to water, food, health, education and work. Even in humanitarian emergencies we try to lay the foundations for reconstruction and development. Each of our projects, in fact, is organized so that every community you can find within itself the resources to become autonomous and independent. In addition to international cooperation projects, we carry out an important work of education and awareness in Italy and Europe: we organize seminars, workshops for children and teachers, exhibitions and the Terra di Tutti Film Festival, documentary film festival in the southern Hemisphere.
