The Associative Space “Espace Associatif” was founded in 1996 is a Moroccan association contributing to the strengthening and promotion of the associative movement for democratic development.
Aiming at the development of the efficiency and quality of intervention of the associative fabric, the Espace Associatif acts for:
– Strengthen the skills and abilities of community leaders,
– To improve the environment of the action of the said associations.
The challenges are many, which is why the Associative Space focuses on mobilization around crucial themes, mainly socio-economic rights, gender mainstreaming in action programs, education, good governance, Local Management and the Environment.
Aiming to promote the associative fabric and to develop its creativity of representation, the intervention of the Associative Space, in different domains, makes of it a platform of exchange of associative experiences. All current and future tools integrate this concern of promotion and exchange, with and between the associations, in the framework of the associative action of democratic development.
Overall objective to contribute to raise the associative movement to the rank of unavoidable actor of democratic development.
Our specific objectives:
– Develop the expertise of associations and advocacy networks in their field of intervention by, information, training and stimulation of reflection.
– Strengthen the effectiveness of associations and networks by providing good governance tools and by clarifying their strategic vision
– Make associative poles of democratic development visible and influential to other actors at the local and national levels.
– Make us a framework and a reference environment that promotes the capitalization and integration of good practices (organization, management, advocacy).
