Esmaani, "listen to me" in French, is a humanitarian association nonprofit.
Officially founded April 8, 2011 , it was during the Tunisian revolution that the first volunteers went to the hospital to assist the emergency medical personnel in the care of the sick. this is to extend this action over the long term and further develop born "Esmâani." Since then, teams of volunteers daily support patients and their families during their stay in hospital. The association is active in the hospitals of Charles Nicolle, Bab Saadoun Bashir Hamza Salah Azaïz and Jendouba ... It is through simple gestures that the association tries to bring a little warmth to people in lonely hospital. Esmâani offers moral and psychological support to patients by listening, discussion and entertainment (reading, board games, music ...). volunteers can participate in physical well-being of the patient or strolling looking after his appearance (shaving, hair ...). Sometimes, volunteers provide assistance in organizing the daily life of the patient or in its accompanying administrative procedures. the association organizes punctually clothing drives, blankets or toys for the needy and called for blood donation in urgent needs.
