Environment Agency

The Environment Agency is committed – Abu Dhabi, which was founded in 1996, to protect and enhance air quality, and groundwater in addition to the protection of biodiversity in the desert and marine ecosystems in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In partnership with other government agencies, the private sector and non-governmental organizations, and global environmental organizations, the Commission is working on adopting global best practices, and promote innovation and work hard to take measures, and effective policies. It also seeks to promote environmental awareness and sustainable development, and ensure the continued inclusion of environmental issues as a top priority in the national agenda.
