Civitas is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan organization was founded in Gaza in December 2001 through an initiative of democrats, young community leaders, journalists, activists, human rights and civil society advocates to strengthen and broaden the civil society space and to enhance civil and democratic practices and principles towards democratization and good governance.
