Historical

Born in January 2001 with the support of the parent association ATIL, ATIL Micro credit is a non-profit organization, recognized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

It began operations in May 2001 in collaboration with the Italian NGO APS in the "Training Program and support for small and micro enterprises in the Wilaya of Tetouan" funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Agency for the Promotion and Economic and Social Development of the Prefectures and Provinces of the Northern Kingdom.

The implementation phase (2001-2005) was characterized by the interest shown by the leaders of the association:
• The acquisition of a good mastery of the craft of Microcredit
• The achievement of the objectives set in the initial development plan.
• ATIL Micro credit is now in a phase of rapid growth and transition from a small MFIs to a medium-sized MFIs.

Our mission

The mission of ATIL Micro Credit, is to promote a model of sustainable and equitable local economic development in Northern Morocco area.
Support the strengthening of micro and small enterprises and the creation of viable economic activities in disadvantaged persons through provision of microcredit and integrated support.

Our goals

The action of Atil MC aims to effectively promote sustainable access of the population currently excluded from conventional credit financing system to improve their level of activity and income.
More specifically, the objectives of Micro Credit ATIL are:

• To professionalize forming continuously trained personnel in the field of microfinance.

• Being a sustainable organization through the development and application of appropriate methods, the establishment of and respect for ethical rules

• Integrating women with competence and know-how in the social and economic life and promote their full participation in local development.
