Our association is working on three aspects :

- Science : estimation of dolphins and whales population in the Tunisian sea - interaction between dolphins and fishing gears and development of the "dolphin watching" in Tunisia.

- Protection : we are against the new projects of sea parks in Tunisia and all over the word. Actually we have only one in Tunisia "Friguia Park" who imports dolphins from Indonesia and japan (maybe from Taiji) - Houtiyat works closely with fishermen to find solutions for the interactions between dolphins and essentially the purse seine fishing gear. In Tunisia dolphins and marine mammals are protected by the law No catch No trade.

- Awareness : We realize many actions with school students, young graduated students and researchers in marine sciences.
