Since 1995, the Bayti association has been working in the field of protection, legal accompaniment, psycho-social rehabilitation and the reintegration of children in difficult situations (street children, victims of violence and sexual exploitation, victims of maltreatment , In conflict with the law). Bayti promotes and defends the Rights of the Child.

The association is governed by a Board of Directors and an Executive Board, and is managed by a director in charge of programs and supervision of 50 employees. Bayti implements programs in Casablanca, Essaouira and Mnasra (province of Kénitra).

The association has been recognized as a public utility since 1999 and its accounts are audited annually by an auditor.

In its 19 years of existence, Bayti has developed several programs, benefiting nearly 18,000 children and 10,000 families.

Main activities:

- Total care (average of 100 children per month): accommodation, food, hygiene, psycho-social rehabilitation, schooling, medical care, legal and administrative assistance, work on family ties for children who break with their families.
- Care for street children (40 children): development of a street-out project for children living on the street (contact, listening, individual interviews, family surveys, legal assistance, hygiene, care, sport, stays a break…).
- School reintegration (200 children): literacy and non-formal education in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education.
- Insertion of employment / studies (50 children over 15 years): vocational training and scholarships for children and young adults in total care.
- Support for parenting: education, mediation, administrative, medical and legal support, organization of awareness campaigns for families and the public.
- Advocacy: pilot project "host family", advocacy of children's rights at national and international level.
