Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen established under a special law in 1974 to care for retired military affairs and the provision of suitable employment opportunities for them and their children in coordination with the concerned authorities. It is considered the institution during the official public law linked to a state Department of Prime Minister / Minister of Defense and has legal personality and has financial and administrative independence, and the institution of the Arab Union for veterans and a member of the victims of war as well as a member of the World Federation for veterans

The general objectives of the institution

Retired military Foundation aims to contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives approved the institution and these targets represented by the following:

First:    to improve economic and social conditions military personnel and their families to retirees , within the resources available.

Second:    capitalize on the expertise of retired military associate of the Foundation in all fields.

Third : the rehabilitation of pensioners in all fields, especially information technology to enable them to engage in the community

Civil in business.

Fourth    , to contribute to national development in the economic and social fields.

Fifth:  to  provide financial facilities for retired military personnel to be able to buy their needs the soft installments.

Sixth:   The implementation of the agreements with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to provide financial support for projects and market associations

Seventh: contributing to instill patriotism and develop patriotism among school students.

Through the Royal guidance and support of officials in the government managed the institution to achieve positive results benefited homeland and military retirees.
