Details

AL-MUNTADA (The Young Scientist’s club) is a non-governmental and a non profit Palestinian organization; established in 1996 in Ramallah, Palestine. Its services cover the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Our vision is to be a center that promotes the culture of Critical Thinking in Education and life in general.

Al Muntada's mission is to contribute to building a Palestinian democratic civic society by scoping its work in education: targeting school children in the Gaza Strip and West Bank and provoking them to think critically and creatively.
Al Muntada's adopted an approach that encourages thinking critically with emphasis on the process of getting to the answer. First step would be to observe the problem. Then learn about it and the last stage is to create an answer, thus engaging them in a hands-on activity of critical thinking.

Objectives
The Young Scientist’s Club main objective is to provide children with the tools, space, and freedom enabling them to think critically; thus adopting a different approach to problem solving than the status quo approach. Maximising that by out-reach summer camps and Think-shops in the West Bank and Gaza strip adding to that training sessions for school teachers to cultivate favourable circumstances for engaging in critical thinking.
