Al Midan is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, established in Lebanon in 2004. It aims to develop the Lebanese society by engaging its citizens to play an active and positive role in their local communities.

Al Midan deals with humanitarian, social, cultural, educational and environmental issues by partnering with local communities, NGO’s, international organizations, donors, charities and the private sector.

It embraces the public-private-partnership program to build capacity, create opportunity, gain knowledge & conceptual congruence.

The main working groups include - Advocacy, Planning & Development , Event & Environmental Management, Research and Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Social Business. Together they coordinate to align a strategic framework to achieve shared vision.

To ensure accountability, Al Midan has set Ethical Standards of Transparency on all of its programs using key monitoring and evaluation indicators, both qualitative and quantitative to meet its requirements.
